Our old Sinumerik 840d  NCU 573.4  SW6.5 + PCU50 Win NT4 has small NCU memory  compared to our program  around 800MB.  We can not load the whole  program on  NC memory.  Is there any way to solve this problem, like drip feeding or  executing from hard disk.??

 you can use the function  "Execution from external"

here I attached file to show you how to do it, I hope you can find someone who know Siemens 840D a little bit more, before you (or someone) do it, strongly suggest making NC archive (back up NC )

another simple steps, maybe your machine builder already set this function for you. search from machine operator's manual the key words "Execution from external". 

Or go to the HMI (PCU50 with OP012) , select Automatic Mode  and select Machine area , take picture of sreenshoot , post here. I may find the menu for you.
