munarza Posts: 30 Rating: (1)	we did an upgrade to a sinumerik 840di but we have a problem on HHU. we have a 5 axis machine ( X-Y-Z-B-C).there is no problem on selecting three main axis (x-y-z) on HHU but when we want to select b and c axis the keys used for selecting these axis are not working. are there anybody have any experience like that. do you have any idea.

RAM81 Silver Member Joined: 3/3/2008 Last visit: 4/9/2025 Posts: 333 Rating: (52)	hi so whenever you are using B-MPI the operation of the HHU is available in FC68,DB68. can you check the condition in the DB. also make sure you are in MCS when you try to move the axes. if possible can you attach the plc program with symbol table??? with regards Ram

Selection of geometry-axis(WCS): This is done directly with the X/Y/Z-push buttons; the axis name is fixed: geoX, geoY, geoZ (3 axis). Selection of machine axis (MCS): The key „4.“ will bring you into the axis-selection sub menu; there you can select one of the displayed machine axis, using the keys „JOG“ „KT1“ „KT2“ „FeedStop“ „+“ and „KT3“ (6 axis). Successes.

Successes. When we pres the key"4" there is an axis selection menu and we want to assign t2 and t7 keys these axes. how can we do that? because at the moment "feedstop" and "+" keys assigned.

Successes. i think that fc68 uses db68. do you know about db68 parameter lines. because the configuration done there. there is a parameter line there and i dont know what function controls these parameters. i think line 570 or 580 , cannot remember at the moment. do you know the functions of the parameters db 68
