Hi,

We have an old Sample Table Printing machine in which S5-95U PLC is installed.

I have a backup of its program files with the extension of (*.S5, *.BAK, *.ET2, *.SEQ & *.INI) and want to transfer to PLC S5-95U.

Problem is that Step 5 V7.x is not supporting the backup files.

Kindly suggest us what should we do to open/transfer the backup files into PLC?

Hi,

Could you give the complete filenames?

Usually a siemens S5 file ends with S5D , not S5 as you wrote.
Maybe you can upload the files for more help.

Probably this are files created with "S5 for windows" from IBHSoftec.

Perhaps someone can confirm.
