Hello everyone,

I'm currently experiencing an issue with my S7-PLCSIM V18. Whenever I attempt to power up an instance for a [S7-1500] processor, the software crashes and starts attempting to reconnect to the server (1 of 8), but it never successfully works again. I'm forced to close the program manually. Strangely, this problem only occurs with the S7-1500, as the S7-1200 works perfectly.

Initially, I suspected a hardware problem, so I upgraded my RAM. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but the issue persisted. In an attempt to resolve it, I noticed there was a new update (SP2) available, so I installed it, but unfortunately, the problem remains unresolved.

I'm reaching out to see if anyone has encountered a similar issue and has a solution. Your insights and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In addition to updating the PLCSIM component, please install Update 3 of TIA Portal V18 and check if the behavior persists.

Updates for STEP 7 V18, S7-PLCSIM V18 and WinCC V18

I believe this issue was solved with TIA V18 Updates!
