Siems s7 1200 CPU model not getting detected

Jovin Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	The CPU Model i have is of S7 1200 - 1214 DC/DC/DC { 6ES7 214-1AG31-0XB0 }. I am unable to get the option of selecting this particular AG model. Can any one give me a patch for this. I am using an older version of TIA Portal 10.5 SP2. Please i need urgent help Jovin

Please i need urgent help Jovin Hello Jovin, You are using a very old software which does not support many of the new and existing hardware. STEP 7 Basic v12 SP1 / STEP 7 Professional v12 SP1 will support your CPU 1214 DC/DC/DC (6ES7 214-1AG31-0XB0) and all the othernew and existing S7-1200 hardware. Hope this helps. The trail software (21 days - full functional) for STEP 7 Basic v12 incl SP1 can be downloaded from - SIMATIC STEP 7 V12 Trial Download (incl. SP1 and PLCSIM)

Bhagat, 1AG31 is typically with FW 3and it's altogether a new hardware (which needs at least TIA Portal v11 SP2 Upd 3or above) unlike 1AE30 - the same hardware with different firmware versions.
