I am Configuring a SINUMERIK ONE NCU1740. I need to have two axes in the PLC through cu-320PN connected on P150 Profinet port as Motion control Technology positioning axes in the PLC. However when I insert the Cu-320 the hardwrae configuration with Telegram105 , The Cu320 drive is listed as an NC drive and gives Alarm of not the right telegram. I want the CU-320 to be only used in PLC as a motion controlled Technology positioning axes and not from NC. Is there a way to do this. I see thet I cannot use Port160 as it is not IRT compatible.

So eventhough it is specified as a S7-1500 the PLC does not have all the same features and functions as a "regular" S7-1500.

And I am speculating as to your application, but i believe in general what you are trying to achieve is not possible.

If you want to use them as pure position axis, you need to configure and license them as such.
