Accessing Alarm history query in wincc without connectivity pack

wincckid Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hi all, im a newbie towincc & i have been given a project where i need to create a GUI which can retrieve the alarms history data within the given time, day and week when the button GO created in the GUI is pressed.I cannot use any external applications or connectvity pack. how do i go about this problem ? thanking you in advance wincckid

cumulus Posts: 993 Rating: (103)	Hi I did not understand, if the "GUI" with the GO button is external Application or is it a WinCC "GUI". By the way, what is behind the GUI, which application? "GUI" is not a good discription. You can not access WinCC form a external application without any WinCC options. On WinCC you can use the WinCC AlarmControl to see hisorical data. When you create a own picture for the trend you can (open a popup) displaythe"alarm"-picture in a picturewindow by buttonclick. regards cumulus

There you set the SQL-Statement for filtering with a VBS-script. The disciption of the properties, you find in theWinCC Information System (Help) under: Working with WinCC > VBS for Creating Procedures and Actions > VBS Reference > Object Types of the ScreenItem Object > Controls > WinCC OnlineTrendControl And how you can use the SQL-Statements, you find under: Working with WinCC > Setting up a Message System > Display of Messages during Runtime > Configuring the AlarmControl > How to configure the display for the table > SQL statements for filtering messages in AlarmControl regards cumulus
