problem with oppening configuration (WINCC and FLEX 2008)

ciril Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am having problems with openning configuration in SIMATIC Manager I have installed STEP7 V 5.4+SP4, WinCC flexible 2008 SP1, STEP7 HF6 and WinCC V7.1+SP1 in the same instaltion sequence. (SQL Server are both, from WinCCFLEXEXPRESS and WINCC) WinCC was also reinstaled Is there anybody having some tips? thanks ciril Attachment err1.GIF (187 Downloads)

Darius Platinum Member Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 12/9/2025 Posts: 2957 Rating: (243)	Hello, You should check your project properties what software it requires and then check your Siemens installed software and check if you have it ("Help --> About --> Display installed software"). Some time ago I had problem that project required software, but software was installed. Then I should reinstall this software. This was dues to wrong installation sequence I think. Also I think it is good idea to check this compatibility list.

The problem begins, when i would like create OS, PC Station and hardware configuration; when i want to insert HMI WinCC Applicaton, i get next error message (attachment). So I took this case in my hande and started from beginning and with pure installation of Simatic Step7, WinCC Flexible and WinCC (installation of SW is in the same order). I have done this installation from Premium Studio 2009 DVDs. Unfortunatly (but not surpisingly!) the problem still remain in my installation of those software packages. I attached three pictures - error.jpg, where an error can be seen, SIEMENS_SW.JPG where Siemens installation can be seen and WINDOWS_SW.JPG where all installed software on Windows can be seen. So now we have clear problem and I would like to know what to do. Attachment error.JPG (154 Downloads)
