Updating Older CFC with newer online version

adilmahsan Posts: 71 Rating: (2)	Hi, I have a PCS7 V6.0 system but I guess this question is valid for the later versions as well. Let's say I have a CFC project, I make any modification in that project, and then I download it into my CPU. So my CPU has the updated project. Now, let's say I make some modifications in my offline CFC, like I delete one wire that is going from 1 block to another. Now, I want that wire to come back by uploading from the online project. Is it possible? Thanks

I'm saying that I have an older project backup with me, and I want the CFCs to get updated as per the online program Is it possible? And if so, can you tell me how? Thanks

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi adilmahsan, There is no possibility to upload the CFC’s except read back the O&C parameters. If your backup is older than the downloaded version (that is, you do not have the latest backup of your project) the only way out is (if do not want to stop the PLC) to make the changes manually with help from VXM. In native STEP7 it is possible to upload but in PCS7 since the program is stored as compiled blocks I guess it is pretty difficultto implement this. Regards
