Jomxyvic Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Thanks bro This is actually a project i was asked to carry out, i have a vfd that has an external potentiometer with 3 wires and i have an inductive motor thaat presently the vfd potentiometer is controlling the speed, but we want to be able to cotrol the speed via s7 300 plc analog and also designa wincc display for it. thanks

mopS04 Posts: 5521 Rating: (1058)	hi, first you need to have a look, what the vfd really need to control the speed, what kind of input it is. I guess it is 0-10V input. If it is a 0-10V input you need a 0-10V output at the S7-300 so you can controll the speed from the program, like this: 6ES7332-5HB01-0AB0 hope this helps, regards,
