CCU1 810DE sw1.6/OP 030 How to Restore .ARC Files to CCU

Prodrig Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello all, I have a Sinumerik 810DE CCU1 who was sent to repairing and they returned another CCU (the original one, was said have no repair). Now I need to Restore de NC.ARC and PLC.ARC files that I have, but I need help, please. The system is composed of: - Sinumerik 810DE CCU1 Software Version 1.6 - 6FC5410-0AY01-0AA0 - Operator Panel OP 030 Software v4.2 - 6FC5203-0AB00-0AA0 The OP 030 is the only User Interface of the system. No other PCU/MMC, etc. This is a Packing Machine where the CNC part is a Robotic Arm. How can I Restore the .ARC Backup files from de OP 030 to the CCU, is this possible with this OP 030 model? Thank's in advance for any help Paulo

PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	At rear end of OP030, you can find port X101 to which user can connect PC/PG & with V.24 user can upload/download back up. HTH

I already made quite a research about this subject and understand that I can transfer the .Arc files from the PC to the OP030, via RS232, with softw. WinPcin, using the "Read In" Data function of the OP. My problem is that I don't find, in the OP030 manual or elsewhere, information how to restore that .Arc files from the OP030 to the CCU... This seams a kind of Basic function OP painel, so I wonder if restore the backup's from this OP030 is indeed possible... Is it? And if it is, how? If it isn't what tool(s) can I use for that? Thank you in advance! Paulo

Prodrig Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Thank you for your answer The .Arc files, after being transfered from the PC to the OP (or MMC, as you said), have to be transfered, afterwards, from the OP/MMC to the CCU, right? This is my question, how to do this with the OP030, is this possible with this OP? O don't find, nor in the manual, nor in the OP030 itself this function, but I don't know if it is because is really not possible with this OP or if is me that don't find that function...
