do you use Program_alarm or do you use HMI descrete alarms?

you have to use the Control/Status Tag of the HMI alarm. With Status Tag you send the Acknowledge state to the PLC Tag and with the Control Tag you can acknowledge this Alarm from PLC tag.

Check also which alarm class and State machine you use.
