1. Create a Shared Folder:
   • On your Batch Server or any reliable network location, create a folder (e.g., \\ServerName\BatchArchives).
   • Ensure this folder is shared with appropriate read/write permissions.
2. Set Permissions:
   • Allow Full Control permissions to the BatchCC service user and the users who will access this folder.
   • Make sure the folder is accessible from all client machines by trying to access it via \\ServerName\BatchArchives from the client machine.

Step 3: Configure BatchCC to Use the Shared Folder

1. On the Client Machine (where BatchCC is accessed):
   • Open the BatchCC application.
   • Navigate to the Archive Configuration settings.
   • Set the Archive Location to the shared folder path (e.g., \\ServerName\BatchArchives).
   • Test the connection to ensure BatchCC can access the folder.

Step 4: Test Automatic Archiving

1. Initiate a Batch Process and allow it to complete.
2. Confirm if the automatic archive is saved successfully to the specified shared folder.
3. Check logs for any errors if archiving fails.

Step 5: Troubleshoot Manual Archiving Error

If manual archiving is still giving errors:

1. Check User Permissions:
   • Ensure the user running the manual archive operation has Full Control permissions on the shared folder.
2. Firewall Settings:
   • Make sure no firewall settings are blocking access to the shared folder.
   • Allow SMB (Server Message Block) traffic if required.
3. Compatibility Mode (if required):
   • Sometimes, running the BatchCC application in compatibility mode for older Windows versions can resolve permission-related issues.
