C-Editor won't open.

Gilberto de Melo Jr. Posts: 11 Rating: (2)	for some reason after a fresh install on my develop/test station WinCC C-Editor and VBS-Editor won't open. The only way I can create scripts is to edit/create them directly through object properties. When I double click C-Editor through WinCC Explorer my cursor changes to a hourglass and after about 5s it turns back to the normal arrow cursor and nothing happens. When I try to open the VBS-Editor the VBS-Editor splashscreen shows and nothing happens the same way. I think I might have been missing some installation or addon to WinCC but I have no clue what is missing.

I try to open the C-editor or VBS-Editor in WinCC V 7.0 +SP2 installed in Win XP SP3 and it does not open. Only the flash window opens and then nothing happens. I re-installed WinCC and tried. I realized that I had several instances of "CCScriptEditor.exe" running in Task manager, and since I could not stop the runtime, I closed them one by one (in taskman), waited a few seconds and tried to open again the editor. It worked!
