Cannot add G120C_GSDML_PN_V4_7_9 in V13 SP1

In the hardware catalog I cannot select this firmware. The latest firmware that i can find is 4.7.6 How can I update the hardware catalog? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from GSD File for a Sinamics G120 C V4.7.

If you want to use the integrated version of G120 FW4.7SP10 is not available in TIA V13SP1. You should go to the latest Startdrive version. If you just need the GSDML file you can stick to ChristophD's comment. Please note that there is a difference between using the drive integrated directly to TIA Portal (Startdrive) and using Starter for commissioning and just the GSDML file in TIA Portal. The GSDML file is always just a placeholder for the communication of the PLC to the drive and you cannot commission the drive via a GSDML file!

DimiGav77 Experienced Member Joined: 12/6/2013 Last visit: 4/29/2025 Posts: 66 Rating: (0)	OK, but if i try to add G120C_GSDML_PN_V4_7_9 in V13 SP1, I can see only GSDML-V2.31-Siemens-Sinamics_G120C-20170904.xml and GSDML-V2.25-Siemens-Sinamics_G120C-20170904.xml files which give me FW 4.7.6 not higher.
