Hello Saravana kumar interesting problem and while I don't have a smoking gun for you, here are some thinsgfor you to check: To start with, see chapter 6.1 of the ET 200 Distributed I/O System with IM 308-C and S5-95U manual which has some important info on adddressing and what to look out for and the two most important ones are: 1.) By default, the IM 308-C uses the address space (F)F800H to (F)F9FFH for addressing the distributed I/O. No part of these address areas may be used by other modules such as CPs, IPs in the CP area, central I/O in the IM3/IM4 area or the WF 470 positionsensing module in the central programmable controller. 2.) S5-135U and S5-155U (applicable for your 948 CPU): If an input/output module is inserted in the central programmable controller, you must not assign any P or Q addresses for the IM 308-C if they are also used by this input/output module! If you use the entire Q area for the IM 308-C, do not insert an input or output module in the central programmable controller (host). |
