hello guys

i have read more about is it possible to simulate I/O data exchange between two plc s7300 which connected with profibus,but unfortunately didnt get any clear result ,someone said yes and another said no,please tell me is it possible? or might wasnt possible but it is now with higher version of plcsim ?

Please, every time you start a new thread, we would appreciate to know what hardware and software you are using. For example, what variant of PLCSim are you using, Simatic Manager or TIA Portal, and what version (v5.4, v14 SP1...). And which CPUs are you using in your project?

In that case the screenshot from the previous post should give you enough hints: build a single project with 2 different CPUs, each with its own hardware configuration and program. Download the complete project to PLCSim and start one instance for each CPU you want to simulate, including communications.

The example below shows step-by-step how to open multiple CPUs simultaneously with PLCSim.

You have not attached your program, and it would be up to you to determine what is wrong with your PLCSim configuration and correct it.

You could start with the PLCSim manual for version 5.4 (which supports multiple instances) You can connect the 2 simulated CPUs over Profibus-DP, if you set the PG/PC interface to PLCSIM (Profibus).
