How do I convert a variable Real Word eficas so it'll use the variable Dollar climbs down on a counter. The real value comes from the HMI and I use it on a counter UP Down For this Valore caught in real and use the function Trunc UPDN and use a counter to count pulses until the value reaches the terminal but it is happening randomly CPU error BCD think it's because a conversion to Real Word wrong. Sincerely.

I didn't understand much, only that you have problem converting real to word. Maybe you could post piece of code where conversion is done ? Normally you need to use RND to convert real to integer, but as I understand you convert integer to bcd as well ? Aren't you ? The best way I think would be if you post piece of code which is responsible for conversion. Then we don't need english at all .

First of all, why you use PV and CV the same variable DB33.DBW28 ? I think CV should be other than PV. Also, is that program who causes BCD error or you just cut/paste some piece from the program ? It would be nice to see your diagnostic buffer contents as well.

Can you please explain what is your application so that we can see what we have at hand. Have fun....

PV should be in BCD format. And thats it.

But According to the Explanations and the error due to the BCD value CV be in the correct PV CV_BCD and put in PV? Regards.
