Why a CPU 1512SP-1 PN has to MAC-addresses? There is only one ethernet port, extendable to 3 ports with a bus adapter, but in that case, the 3 ports have the same IP-address. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, As you can see from the equipment manual, your CPU has 4 MAC addresses in use. This is because for a PROFINET device, each interface (X1 for your CPU) has a MAC address and each port has an additional address. Kind regards |
