I have to revamp a 12-pulse series connection drive, but in the 12-pulses application manual talks about the needed of a supply transformer with 30º lag between both secondary windings, but the supply transformer that I have to reuse is Dd6y11. Now I wonder is possible to use this transformer with DCM 12-pulses application? what options I have right now?

No, it is not possible to use Dd6Dy11 vector group power transformer, since the requirement of 30 degree lag is not fulfilled in this configuration. Please refer the manual wherein applicable vector groups are mentioned which are Dd0Dy11 or Dd6Dy5 or Yy0Yd11 or Yy6Yd5.

P.S. Out of two transformers one must be isolation transformer.

Do you mean to say that you are trying to retrofitt/replace old 12 pulse series connection Siemens make drive with DCM? If yes, could you please provide us the MLFB number of old Siemens DC drive?

I would like go to the point and forget this remark.... Is there any option/posibility  to retrofit/replace a old drive  at 12 pulses serial connection and this kind of vector group transformer to Siemens???

Yes 12 pulse series connection drive can be replace by Siemens make DCM provided Siemens DCM basic requirements must be satishfied/fulfilled. I will also suggest you to contact your nearest Siemens service/support center & consult the experts about how you can retain your old transformer with new Siemens DCM.

Yes, I'm trying to replace a drive made by other brand than Siemens. And now a days is working with this kind of vector group transformer.

But if this remark you take it as bad remark, Sorry but it was not my intention, it was just a thinking.

No I do not considered it as bad or good remark, but want to know the idea behind adoption of Dd6Dy11 vector group transformer. You can study the drive & find out how Dy6Dy11 vector group is used or you can find out the successor drive to your existing drive so that you retaine your existing power transformer as it is.
