Ercan, It is recommended to use RS485 Repeater for cables longer than 200m for 1.5Mbps baud rate and cables longer than 100m for 3 Mbps to 12 Mbps. Long cable maybe an issue in your case but so far you have only problem with the last node. There is a possibility of having loose connection either on Node13 or Node14 connectors. There might be something wrong with the Profibus cable between Node13 and Node14. If you can do the following test, it will help to figure out the issue: 1. Add a dummy Profibus node after Node14 an make that one as the last one. This requires changing hardware config and downloading it which may not be appealing. 2. Take a profibus cable from Node14 back to Node13 and make Node13 the last node. If still Node14 goes down then issue is with the drive connection If both nodes go down, it maybe the cable from Node13 to Node14. Regards, Behnam www.sigmaprocess.ca |
