Hi All, I am trying to achieve a functionality that dynamically updates the screen path in WinCC For eg: as we have in our windows system - when we go from c drive to a different folder it updates automatically the path or file location. Hi, Although you can arrange the screens within the WinCC Unified Engineering System into different and nested groups, this is not related to a screen path and therefore this information is not accessible within the runtime system. The window/screen object hierarchy is similar to a file system path, but since WinCC Unified uses a screen-in-screen approach, there will not be a single "path". Getting this hierarchy will be possible through recursive use of the Parent property. But to be honest, I am not sure if this will work in V17. Kind regards |
