Asad Abbas Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi Everybody I have just joined the forum to get some help from experts. I am doing a small project and bought a S71200 and an expansion module. The cpu is 1212c and the expansion module is SM1223 1PH 8inputs and 8 outputs. I am having problem in getting the output from the expansion module. I have wired the module as per the drawing and the program has been downloaded to cpu without any errors. The expansion module in the software shows that it is connected,the DIAG light on it is solid green. the supply 24vdc is perfectly connected to where it is supposed to be at the input side. on the output side i have connected +24vdc to 1L and 2L. IN THE SOFTWARE WHEN I SIMULATE THE PROGRAM I GET THE OUTPUT but on the actual expansion module i am not getting any output. the Cpu input and output are working perfect but no activation of relay or click sound on expansion module. I need help to resolve this issue. please advice me. Thanks to all in advance Regards Asad

Asad Abbas Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi I have programmed my logic in ladder. its got 15 rungs of logic. i am unabale to paste the file for some reason but i will take the images and post just a smaple to show is taken. as you can see in the screen the logic module is green ticked and the software also shows the logic but the module is not giving an output. i Attachment 20140526_111918.jpg (244 Downloads)

Asad Abbas Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	MR.WIZARD You are genious. its working now but how come it is q8.0 q8.1 and so on why not q1.0 1.1 etc because the cpu starts from Q0.0 so the next slot module should read Q1.0 is it or not but yes yosaid try Q8.0 and bingo its working. please explain this mystry.
