FB43 MESSAGE - Problems with texts alarms in WinCC (scada)

esdalo2021 Regular Member Joined: 5/12/2021 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone: I have the following problem with the FB43 Message block that generates the alarm texts in the SCADA. Particularly in this case, the block within the CFC 'x' already generates some alarms with a certain text. But after I updated those messages (new ones were added, and the existing ones were also changed), after compiling and downloading with changes to the WinCC servers (there are two servers: Master and Standby), the messages of the FB43 block presented the following problems: - The existing messages were not updated: they continue to show the text they had before the update - The new messages were not updated either: when the event is activated, the texts by default of the block continue to be shown. The attached image shows the new texts within the FB43 and a pair of alarms activated within the SCADA, where they show that they do not coincide. This problem has been presented to me on other occasions and is not an isolated event of this specific CFC. There was a time when alarms were generated correctly in the WINCC but from a time until now these problems began. I appreciate any guide, help, comment, assistance that you can give me. Your working environment shows German, but your SCADA "default" text appears like it's probably in English, and your desired text is in Spanish/Italian/Portuguese (I can't tell at the moment which one)... Make sure to make your engineering and runtime environment consistent, or/and make sure you go through and edit all the language tables for multi-languages.

Then, expanding on the information, I noticed that in this multiproject, I have an S7-400 PLC (MALTA1) that has FB43 blocks that did correctly generate alarm text in Spanish, but another S7-400 PLC (MALTA2) did not. The texts in FB43 that are in English in this last PLC do appear in SCADA, but the ones in Spanish do not. Regarding what you told me about setting the language, where should I do it?

Most likely the language of each AS project in the MP is not set the same. That's what I'd check first, but that might not be the only thing you need to adjust.
