Hello,

SINAMICS G120 with CU240E-2 DP control unit is communicated with S7-300 over PROFIBUS. When inverter operates a fault with fault code "F01910 : Fieldbus interface setpoint timeout" occurs. The panel design is made due to EMC Compliant Design Specs.

- The bus connection is OK.
- The communication mode is OK.
- The parameters arrangement for related issue is OK. 

I suppose there is a noise anywhere in the panel which affects the data transmission over the fieldbus, but I could not detect it. 

After all the configurations and arrangements to solve this issue, I could not eliminate this effect, and the inverter cannot get set point from the S7-300 regularly. The inverter operates, and randomly this issue occurs so inverter STOP via OFF3.  

What can be cause of this problem and how can it be eliminated.

the sporadic fail... It's something specific.

The likely reasons may be:

• The p2040  shouldn't be =0, it can be 100 ms at least.
  
• Just for experiment, try  to lay the profibus cable separately from any power cables.

Did you try tracing r2050.0 / r2050.1?
