Connect your PG to profibus. Open Hw-congig от online and look to problem module. Send screen shot in forum |

the error message is Module configured, but not available Preset/Actual mismatch: (inserted and configured module types are not the same) - Expected type: DP Slave (Order No. = ???) - Current type: Not available . The error message means that your CPU is talking to the IO rack. BUT the configuration of the IO is different to the configuration in the CPU. What you need to do is make sure your configuration in your PLC hardware config is correct as per the IO rack. How profibus communicationswork is First the CPU says "HEY, I'm looking for Steve! (slave 19)" Then the IO rack say "I'M Steve!! (slave 19)" Then the CPU asks "Are you the same SteveI went to school with? (2 input cards, 1 output card, 1 analog input card)" Then the IO rack says "No sorry, I've only been steve for 2 years now, i used to be Stefanie so it must be a different steve you are looking for (1 input card 1 output card 1 analog output)" Having said all this, you probably got your config right? You have thesame modules on the IO rack as in the hardware config right? So, what else could it be. Check the firmware of the GSD file versus the firmware version of the IO rack. Some manufacturers even change the GSD codes for the IOmodules bewteen GSD revisions. So evenif you have the right modules in your hardwareconfig beacuse you are send the wrong configuration codes due to the GSD revision it wont talk. The latest GSD file can be downloaded from http://www.abb.com/product/seitp334/4f9f2db009eb1593c1256ecc006ea0ac.aspx |
