Hi, There is a lot of logic inside the AP library in the block icons, faceplates. For instance, several attributes in the APL block icon are forwarded to the faceplate using C-script. The scripts also search for specific attribute names and if they are not found, the function does not work. The easiest and probably the best thing to do is to create a copy of an existing block icon, change the appearance, create a new block icon number and assign it to the technological blocks in CFC. If you take a look at my topic: PCS7 Complete Overview, you have a section called: APL Section. You can find some useful information there. But there are other options as well...You can use SelFp1 and SelFp2 which are available on each technological block like OpDi01. If you assign a variable from another block like MotL, then you can use jump to faceplate functionality. You can open the OpDi01 faceplate and jump to the MotL faceplate. The Industry Library has a block called SelFp (FB1154) which opens as a faceplate where a total of 5 blocks can be attached, so additional 5 blocks can be opened via jump to faceplate.
