I am facing an issue integrating the ET 200SP IM 155-6DP HF module (6ES7 155-6BU01-0CN0) with PCS 7 V8.0 SP2 and STEP 7 V5.5 SP3 HF7. The module is missing in the HW Config catalog, and attempts to install GSD or HSP files (from Siemens official links) result in installation failure.

F-Config V5.5 SP11 was successfully installed, but it is designed for Fail-Safe modules, while all used modules are standard (non-F).

Diagnostics via Y-Coupler (IM 157) show the following errors:

• "Slave with address 8 failed"
• "Module available and o.k., but external error"
• "Different order numbers detected"

PCS 7 V8.0 SP2 is an older version and may not support newer hardware like the ET 200SP IM 155-6DP HF (6ES7 155-6BU01-0CN0). STEP 7 V5.5 SP4 does support this module, but it's important to check Siemens documentation to confirm compatibility. If unsupported, consider upgrading to a newer PCS 7 version like V9.x or V10.x that includes support.
Verify that the correct Hardware Support Package (HSP) for the ET 200SP IM 155-6DP HF module is installed. Issues can occur if the HSP file isn’t compatible with your PCS 7 or STEP 7 version. Make sure the HSP version matches your software version (e.g., STEP 7 V5.5 SP3 HF7) to avoid installation errors.
Check that the Y-Link (IM 157) is properly configured and matches the ET 200SP IM 155-6DP HF module settings. Ensure the Profibus address and order numbers in HW Config are correct.
Reinstall F-Config V5.5 SP11 to ensure proper integration, even for standard modules. Also, check that no Fail-Safe settings are accidentally enabled in HW Config.
