Migration Error From Wincc Runtime To TIA V11/V12/V13

Nitin Khunt Advanced Member Joined: 6/23/2014 Last visit: 11/12/2024 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I am migrating Project which is created in Wincc Flexible 2008 SP2 selecting "Wincc Runtime" to TIA V11 & V12 & V13. But every time it shows Error of which Snap is attached Below. Please Tell me what is wrong with it !!!! Attachment TIA Migration Error.JPG (404 Downloads)

billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (120)	Mr. programmer, The error message indicates WinCC Flexible is not installed on the computer with TIA Portal installed and you did not use the Migration tool on the WinCC flexible project as an intermediate step. Alternatively, using the “Migration Tool”, you can convert the source project into the migratable “*.ap12” file format. This file can be imported through the TIA Portal. Then you will not need STEP 7 V5.x (WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2 or SP3) on the PC. Notes • For WinCC V12 or higher you will find the migration tool on the installation DVD under the “Support → Migration_Tool_TIA_V12.exe” folder. Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/16/2025 Posts: 16436 Rating: (1935)	Hello Mr.programmer Additional to the last post you have also to check if you have installed the Migration component of your TIA WinCC Installation. You can go to the Windows 7 "Programms and Functions" Then you can select the TIA Portal Installation. -> Click on Change and then the Installation Screen appears and you can check if you have installed the Migration. When not, you can install it here. Good luck Greetings Murof
