My first time with wincc portal

I need to change only OLD  HMI with NEW ONE " SIMATIC HMI KP1200 COMFORT ".

I start the project with TIA POARTAL but I can not find my cpu s7-315 2dp 6ES7315-2AF00-0AB0

I tried to migrate plc programe to portal but evey time error because of old cpu

The mentioned CPU is too old and not supported by TIA Portal.

Hello,

this PLC is not supported in TIA so you can't migrate it to TIA.
You can change the PLC Type to a newer one in the Classic Step7 and then migrate this project to TIA.
But with the project then you can only programming the new PLC Type, not the older one!

Hi sherief,

From your description it seems as though you need to engineer a new HMI to be able to communicate with an older PLC.

(1) Migrate the HMI project to WinCC (TIA)

(2) Create a "proxy" in Step7 V5.x for using in TIA Portal. This will be a stand-in for creating the relevant links between HMI and PLC.

Unfortunately I do not have all the info you need .. other than knowing there is an FAQ about the subject showing the ins and outs. Hopefully the other gentlemen can help.

Hi,

in this case you should use the Device Proxy.

With the device proxy you synchronize the PLC Tags to TIA and access it with the HMI.
The programming of the PLC is doing in the Classic.
