Hi All, I wish to add one doubt regarding the version to be used. I am creating the OP177B HMI screens same as existing damaged OP17 HMI which can not be recovered (OP177B is replacement of OP17 which is recommended by Siemens). Very basic screens I need to create like showing the analog values on the screen, On/Off status of the machine, production count, running shift etc. The PLC is S7 300 programmed in Step 7 Simatic Manager 5.4. Which software I have to use for the HMI programming? Is TIA Portal V14 SP1 work for it? Or, I have to use WinCc Flexible (Compact or Advance or Flexible 2008). Thanks in advance. Hi SantK_Pune, This panel is not supported from TIA portal v15. As indicated in the technical data of the panel, it can be configured in versions of winCC flexible from WinCC flexible Compact Version 2005. Therefore, you could use WinCC flexible 2008 or TIA Portal V14 for example to program it. Br, Huguens. |

Hello, Perhaps the attached file might help. The following devices have been removed from TIA Portal version V15:

Hello, To be straight forward, you need WinCC flexible Compact Version 2005 or higher. And as 2005 is obsolete, then at least you need WinCC flexible Compact Version 2008. |
