I have a question. CU240E

I need start a motor with plc. I make p840=di1 wiring.

i need stat too with a push bottom in a local cockpit.

how i configure p840 to run the motor with only one pulse (push botton)? Its ***ible?

The CU240E OFF1 signal is activated (TURNED ON) when OFF1 goes from OFF to ON (leading edge).

You can use leading edge or level change to turn it on.

However, keep in mind, OFF1 is also required to stay ON for the motor stay running.

OFF1 is basically DRIVE ENABLE, with the understanding that OFF2 and OFF3 must already be ON before changing OFF1 from OFF to ON - and any faults cleared.

If the pushbutton is not latching, you will need something to latch the circuit, either a PLC or some type of latching relay.

What type of PLC are you using?

i was trying latch the turn on with any function block like RSR p20188 not posibble?

Then i'll make with relay.

Or the standard (relay) logic for Start/Stop.

Or some variation of it that handles condition where the Start PB gets stuck ON and yet the Stop PB still works.

tractor, very clear your idea

Finally i did it with:

p15=19 macro ( three wire control)

p3330=r722.0 switch on

p3331=1  run clockwise

p3332=0

the speed its with fixed setpoints.
