Hello!

I am trying to communicate Differential Protection Relay 7SD61 with another relay of same type which are few Meters apart. Since FO cannot be laid we are trying to use an exisiting Ethernet Network, We tried FO to EThernet converter and then again tried to convert the Ethernet to FO.

But Suprisingly this is not Working.

So, We are trying following scheme:

Relay with FO o/p ----> Fo to ethernet converter --->>> Ethernet LAN->>>> Ethernet to FO ->>>> Differential Protectn Realy.

Both the relay are same 7SD61 Siprotec.

Please assist.

hi,

i have a communication problem with 7SD61 relay. on the ring sometimes-once per day- i get a communication error and it takes about 30 sec. i update iec61850 with last version all of relay on the ring but communication problem did not solved. i saw this problem on 7SJ62 relay, then it solved with iec61850 updating. but 7SD61 problem did not.

Is there anyone who knows how to solve it?
