Requesting XP SP2 KB319740

gbs Posts: 178 Rating: (5)	I am trying to install WinCC V7 on a Vista Ultimate, Business laptop. The install if fine until it tries to install WinCC. It fails on XP SP2 KB319740 not installed. I have checked the compatibility docs and V7 is compatible with Vista. So why is it asking me for an XP SP2 KB? Thanks,

gbs Posts: 178 Rating: (5)	I have used another WinCC DVD install disk and itinstalled correctly. Not sure why but it installed correctly without requiring the KB fix.

Maybe the two DVD's you have are WinCC 7.0 and WinCC 7.0 SP1? Sorry I can't help further, Vista is banned from all our development machines by the IT department...
