I'm using a TM PosInput2 HSC module, with technological object, and I had some problem with 'latch' function. The function work properly if I manage this on OB1. But I need to 'read' the latched value on interrupt. I use this function to 'read' the position of some object, during a movement of an axis, and the frequency of the trigger value could be 'higher', and the risk is to lose some value.

My application is:

- trolley that run on railway, controlled by sinamics drive

- external encoder on trolley, connected to PosInput2 module

- sensor for position detect, actually connected on PosInput2 Digital input.

I configured this DI for 'latch' function, and it works… but I don't find any way to read the latched value into OB40 (HardwareInterrupt). The interrupt is correctly generated, but I can know only that the interrupt is generate form that module… I tried to use RALRM function, but in the information retrieved there isn't the value.

Does anyone know if there is a way to got what I need?

thanks for your reply. This is the first thing I've tried, but I had 2 problems:

1) there is no way to know if the latch value come from rise or falling edge of probe;

2) sometime the value is not updated (old value...).

These are the reason because I ask if exist a different way to retrive the information.
