Some part of Russian translation inside faceplate of PCS 7 V9.1 OS shows "???"

DEBAJIT Regular Member Joined: 1/4/2020 Last visit: 8/20/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, Objective is to have Russian translation for the OS. PCS 7 V9.1 is installed having WinCC V7.5 + SP2 + Upd4. Russian Localization package is installed with this. Customer asked to have English and Russian both option for OS Runtime. So, I have translated Text Libraries after exporting from Text Distributor for all the vacant text field in Russian option. When I activated runtime and changed language to Russian, Messages, Picture Trees, Some texts of faceplate of blocks were getting translated, but some texts as shown in the attachment are not getting translated and it is showing "???". Also, I have checked the option - "Manage Multilingual Texts" -> "Export" -> "Text Display" after selecting the Source and Target Language, but there is no effect, problem remained same. Kindly help giving the information where it went wrong that is not translating the texts inside faceplate as shown in attachment. Russian localization adds russian language support to english PCS 7 projects. With this package you don’t need to translate system pictures, faceplates or messages in PCS 7 OS projects. Additionally, you will have the ability to turn on Russian language support for the PCS 7 OS engineering environment. Also it is free and as download available. With regards Heisenberg

DEBAJIT Regular Member Joined: 1/4/2020 Last visit: 8/20/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi Heisenberg, Language Localization package is installed already - "SIMATIC PCS7 V9.1 + WinCC v7.5 SP2 Upd4 - Russian" Problem's nature is the texts inside block's faceplate are translating for a moment while I am pressing the command from English to Russian on OS Runtime, after the moment it is showing "????" and it remained "????" all the time after that. Also, I have checked from "@PG_MotL(VlvL/VlvAnL)_Standard....", texts are there for Russian Language option. So, I think texts are there but something is happening to disappear the translated text after some moment. But this "????" is not coming fr already pre installed language - German, French.
