I have a LOGO! 24RC (0BA6).  I have LOGO!Soft Comfort v8.0.0 installed on Macbook Pro running Mac OS X v10.11.1 (El Capitan).

I’m have installed the latest driver downloaded from SiLabs (CP210x Macintosh OS X VCP Driver v4) for OS X 10.10.

I have verified that /var/lock folders exist and are readable/writeable by “everyone”.  Also verified that var/spool/uucp are readable and writeable by “everyone”.

When I plug the USB cable into the computer and attempt to transfer program from SoftComfort to LOGO, the computer apparently sees the USB UART as I am prompted to select either /dev/tty.SiLab_USBtoUArT or /dev/cu.SiLab_USBto UART.  

However, selecting either results in either no response or “Unable to access IP address /dev/tty.SiLAB_USBtoUART” or “Unable to access IP address /dev/cu.SiLAB_USBtoUART.  Making either selection consumes substantial (50%) cpu utilization that can only be cleared by a reboot of the computer.

Is there anyone out there who has successfully communicated with a LOGO device via USB and Mac OS X 10.10 (El Capitan)?  I desperately need some guidance.

"Hello Gene, I am sorry I have not.  I know that in the product notes it has this" Requires Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Lion, Mac OS X Mountain Lion, Mac OS X Maveriks".  Let me know if you need more."
