Hi George, Logging tags are licensed separately, regardless of whether file-based or database-based logging is used. For instance, the "WinCC Unified PC 1000 Logging Tags" license permits logging of up to 1,000 tags per license. In order for database-based logging to be used, a "WinCC Unified Database Storage" license will need to be purchased. For details, please refer to the licensing section of the user documentation.
