Hike Posts: 138 Rating: (0)	Is it possible to connect single WinCC workstation with 8 PLC's. Basically i have to display different parameters of 8 PLC's s7-300 on a single workstation. How can i make connections if it's possible

WinCC(as of version 6.x, not too sure which one exactly) does icludethe so called "Softnet Lean" license which allows for up to 8 connections. If you need more you'll have to purchase the "full" Softnet licensewhich allows forup to 64 connections (e.g. you could theoretically have one WinCC PC "talking" with 64 S7 PLC's) Waqas How can i make connections if it's possible The setupdepends on what type of connections (Ethernet, Profibus. MPI etc.) and is quite well explained in the Communication chapter of the WinCC information system (which you can find in the WinCC program group assuming you haveWinCC installed). I hope this helps
