Hi all.

   I try to connect my laptop to NCU 720.2 of sinumerik 840Di sl via X127 port. CP config of project is 192.168.214.1. i set my laptop IP is automatic. Then i ping to adress 192.168.214.1, everything is ok.I can see IP adress, MAC adress of NCU, TCU, MCP..v..v in my system when use " Edit Ethernet Node" in Simatic manager. But i couldnt go online NCU, no download, no upload( Couldnt " Upload station to my PC"). My laptop use windown 7 64 bit. 

  So, my question is: with windown 7 64bit, how can i  online NCU 720.2 via x127. is there firewall in sinumerik 840Di sl which hamper the connection????

Have you set up the ethernet address for the 840D in the harware settings of your project.

Have you got the plc project fron the machine manufacturer and the correct toolbox?

If you can ping then it is usually project address causing a problem. Make sure the whole of the ip address is set up correctly

Yes i have plc project from the machine manufacturer and the correct toolbox(IP config of NCU in plc project is  192.168.214.1). There are no the change of ip config. i can ping to NCU(its ok). But i couldnt " Upload the Station to PC". When i set my ip laptop is automatic, my laptop have ip 192.168.215.2, subnet 255.255.255.0. ( i can ping to ncu with this ip). When i change my laptop ip is 192.168.214.250, i cant ping to NCU. My laptop use windown 7 64 bit. 

 Whats anyproblem with windown7 64 bit to the connection between my laptop with NCu???? Maybe i must use windown XP????

You will need to set up your IP address manully. I run xp, win 7 32 and win 7 64. All talk no problem.
