Hello Felipe; Welcome to the Siemens forum. This forum attracts participants from many countries, and we do not all speak Spanish, for exampple. To make our exchanges easier, we have decided to use English as a common language. Please write to us in English on yur next visit. You mention motors, ABB drives, Simatic Manager and GSD files. GSD files are used to integrrate a Profibus drive or a Profinet drive (actually, this would be a GSDML file) in a PLC program. Profibus and Profinet can be used with many Siemens PLCs, and, with the proper communication adapteralso with ABB drives. For example: https://new.abb.com/drives/connectivity/fieldbus-connectivity/profibus/profibus-dp-fpba https://new.abb.com/drives/connectivity/fieldbus-connectivity/profinet/fena-21 Please give us more details on the S7 PLC you wiish to use (Simatic Manager is limited to S7-300 and S7-400 CPUs). If you give us the part number of the PLC we can help you determine what communication protocol it supports natively and select an appropriate comm processor for the ABB drive, then help you locate certain ABB libraries for the S7 PLCs, depending on the particular drive you have chosen. I am unaware of standard faceplates developped for zaBB drives. Actually, this link will bring you to the ABB collection of libaries available for S7 PLCs; most of them are for TIA Portal (another progamming software for recent S7 PLCs), but there are a few vailable for Simatic Manager: https://new.abb.com/drives/software-tools/drive-manager-for-simatic For motors, you will have to do the selection and commissioning on the ABB drive using the documentation of the drive, on your own.. Luckily as you can see ABB is very generous in its documentation and support. We can help you on the S7 side, to establich communications from the PLC to the drive, and to use available blocks (if available for your drive( to control the opertion of your project. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
