Hi, good information here, but I am still having difficulty in setting up a functional Modbus Client/Server network. Configured the devices and IPs but I cannot add a circuit to any device. Conversely if I create a separate (new) circuit using a Network Input or Output block I get an "incompatible connector" error when I try to add any input conditioning for the block. What am I doing wrong? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Here you go. Not much there. Basically trying to create a Modbus test network with LOGO (client) and AB Micro 820 (server). Thanks AttachmentDW_LOGO_Micro820Test.zip (403 Downloads) |

In the Network view, select only 2 MODBUS compatible devices. However, you must select at least one LOGO! 8.FS04 instead. And with the IP addresses it will not work. The LOGO! has network class 3, since the IP address must begin with 192.xxx.xxx.xxx. AttachmentDW_LOGO_Micro820Test_V2.zip (415 Downloads) |
