Get IM155-6 HF DP Interface Data into PLC

But i want to have the same program, disabling the IO i have from it when it is NOT plugged in... Thus i need to get data IF there is a IM155-6 plugged in or not (same adrress on all..) I tried see in the manual and use RD_REC from the IO (Head), but i dont know how to set this up.... Manual is quite "crap". Any good solutions for this.?

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 9/4/2025 Posts: 12397 Rating: (2717)	Hello Skaltek-Jonas; Not exactly sure if this is what you are looking for, but this looks promising: this document describes "multiple use IO systems" for Profinet, where you build the IO controller 's (your CPU) IO devices networked for all possible configurations, and then manipulate the local program to remove the IO devices you do not need for a particular application. Then i used bit # 2 (.1), for my program. It seemed to work proper.. Just unhookoed the DP from my master system and the bit(s) went 0, When i plugged it it went 1.
