Currently using a KTP400 and winCC basic.

I have a barcode scanner connected to the usb of the HMI, everything works fine but I'd like a way of  getting the focus in the I/O field by pressing a button on the screen instead of selecting the I/O field box, is this possible.

I can get the focus on the I/O field when the screen loads from edit >> Tab Sequence but when a user selects any other object the focus is lost. Is there a way to have the focus automatically set back to the I/O field after any other event or with a button press as above (preferably auto focus would be great)?

Some dirty trick is to re-load screen.

even if you are at the same screen "ActivateScreen" action will load this screen again, thus restoring focus according to tab order. at least on simulator it does work.

is that solution enough for you?
