Please help me to run my application in Siemens MM440 drive

For this application i have to use 1st encodure as a main sheet line to sence length & speed refrence to the drive and second encodure in motor for close loop mode for cutting Sheet accuracy . The 1st encodure sence the line speed and length and by the electronic gearing the speed refrence is given to the cutter drive. This application is running in Eurotherm drive. Please help me to run this application in Siemens MM440 drive. Thanks & Regards SandyKalsi

T400 is Technology module. You can get itPreloaded with Cut to Lengh application software. But you need Master Drive (If using AC Motor), or Simoreg DC Master 6RA70. You can go for Sinamics as Master Drive is obsolete.... You might Need S120.. You can get more details from nearest Siemens Center... Regards, Devesh Vithani

But my points are in other side. I don't know what type of SSD - Eurotherm Drives you had there. The project requirements are also very important. But: basically we could say Siemens analog is MM440. If I were in your place, I would check wire connections with encoders there and to look deeply into drive's parameters how drives communicate and do the job. Eventually foror MM440 you would need How should I set up the encoder module? plus CD manuals which are going together with each MM440. (BTW you could find them here also).
