fmpfmpf Posts: 40 Rating: (1)	How do i make the following connection? I have 2 switches and they are the inputs of a &-gate In my WINCC programme i have a red circle the circle should turn green when both switches are turned on. Basically, the circle is the output of the &-gate Thank you

The result of this &-gate can be a flag (M0.0) In WinCC flexible you make a connection between PC and PLC. Then you generate a new tag. (M0.0) In screen you've got a circle, go to properties. Go to Animations -> appearance. Select the enable. And here you connect Tag. Then you fill in value and corresponding color. Best regards, Wizard

Is it by integrating the WinCC into STEP 7? What do you mean by generating a new tag? I am new to this and i cant find any manual that teaches me. Thank you very very much nvm, it is ok....i got it already THANK YOU VERY VERY VERY MUCH

fmpfmpf Posts: 40 Rating: (1)	1 more thing now i have to create 2 buttons on the WinCC screen these 2 will be my 2 inputs upon clicking both these buttons, the light on my switch (the one where i used previously as the 2 inputs....yes, they have small LEDs for each switch) should light up this light that sould light up is my output for the &-gate tq again

Create a button on screen, go to properties of button. go to Events -> Click and select a function -> edit bits and choose one. It could be 'Setbit'. Then connect a tag, which has an adres in CPU. Remember you should also reset the bit, this can be done in WinCC flexible or in CPU. I hope this is what you mean. Best regards, Wizard

So the LED should light up when i click both buttons For the adress of the variable declarations, do i put them asM0.1 and M0.1 for the 2 inputs? And for the exit i use A124.0 TQ

You should use the adress M0.1 and M0.2, on for each button. So button1 should be connected to M0.1 and button2 should be connected to M0.2 In CPU you use &-gate, and this results into an output. (If it's a real LED, you should use A124.0, otherwise you can use a Flag) And connect this flag with a simulated LED on PC. Best regards, Wizard
