Duris is right that the CPU you mention is from VIPA (now Yaskawa). You can confirm this from this manual:

VIPA CPUs are often very close to S7-300 PLCs, since they are basically a clone of the old Siemens S7-300s, but some operational differences exist. Butt i have used Profibus masters from other manufaxturers (Rockwell, GE Fanuc, Modicon...) with a DP/P coupler, with good sucess. Duris stated, please review the configuration of both masters to a ouple, s shown in the following manual, tis very well could be the source of your problems.

Notice that the Inputs of master 1 become the outputs of master 2, and the outputs of master 1 bcome outputs in master 2:

Very sorry if I misread the original question, but the main asnwer remains the same. This is not a VIPA support site, so you might have to go to the VIPA support for specific help (remember, VIPA is now part of Yaskawa).

If this new CPU has been programmed with Step 7, you might ty to use functionnalities from that software, especially the diagnostic buffer. When Siemens CPUs show fault LEDs active, the Step 7 diagnostic buffer is the main access to information, on hardware or software faults. I suggest you open the buffer (while you are online with the CPU) and either study and correct the problems indicated i the buffer, or save the buffer contents to a text file (there is a SAVE AS'' button in the buffer page) and post it here, maybe we could help you. Or send it to VIPA support. when you contact them.
