Hello Titas I have a "bad" feeling that switched I/O's in one ET200M with two IM153's in itis NOT supported for an S5 H system (even thoughthis kind of setupwould be quite typical for an S7 400H system). If you want to operate switched ET200M based I/O's via an IM308C, you can howeverdo so by using only ONE IM308C which is located in a swichted Expansion Rack and the FAQ below has more info on this as well as some important "watch out" notes. Use of IM 308C in Programmable Controller S5-155H/CPU 948R Ihope this helps and since I'm not 100% sure that what you want to do can't be done,it wouldn't hurt to send a Service& support request to Siemens (or perhapsothers mayhave the answer) |

I'm afraid to say that I still believe that you are trying to implement an unsupported solution. Ifound some more references though to back up my suspicion; Page125 of the manualBus links DP/PA coupler, DP/PA link and Y link(ED 10/2006) simply and only states that "you must configure two Profibus DP Master systems in COM Profibus if an IM153-2is used fora 115H or 155H system" Page 8 ofTHISnewer supplement to the above manual does however ammend the above statement by adding "A redundantly configured link with IM 153-2 can not be operated on an S5 H System" Having said that, using theold IM153-2AA02-0XB0 in your desired setup may have very well been a supported configuration (I can't find any references to it). As you said, it does work, which could be because it is designed to work (it could of course also be"sheer luck" that it works). The factthat the the new2BA02 has more capabilities, faster changeover times, can also be used as a DP/PA or Y-Link etc.,could also explain that the old 2AA02works and the 2BA02 does not work. (Possibly) good news is this: There is a way to configure the 2BA02as a 2AA02 to retainthe original "functionality" which is (see also page 245 of THIS manual): If you insert the IM 153-2Bx00 interface module ● on a bus module BM IM/IM (6ES7195-7HD00-0XA0), ● configure as an IM 153-2AA02,● configure with GSD revision 2, then it has the functionality of an IM 153-2AA02. It might be worthwhile trying this if you can.
Not too sure, but to begin with possibly just a poor translation and it should read "CIR" instead of "KIR". The new CIR as well as "unbundled I/O" functionality was introduced with the the release of the 2BA00and THIS release note has more on it. Why CIR and unbundled I/O functionality is however "bundled" together as one paramter in the GSD file is something I can't explain. I hope this helps and as before if you want absolute certainty on thisI do suggest you do shoot out an enquiry to the guys from Siemens service & support (and please keep us posted on the outcome) |
