I got a situation:

We made a project in TIA with several Siemens G120C drives. When the customer expects us to provide a spare drive with parameter set. What is the quickest way to do this?

We didn't save all the parameters from each drive to a .DNL file.

Hi,

If You configured yours drive using Startdrive in online mode, and then You didn't perform Upload from device to project, your parameter set is not stored in TIA Project. So, In this situation I think you should make new parametrization of drive (if You remember parameters setting).

Also, there is an option to copy parameters from one drive to other using BOP-2 panel or SD Card, but You need to have acces to parametrized drive.

When we got the situation that we are not able to read the parameters from the drive in the worst case. (complete burn out or fire in the plant). We have the to do a start up the drive again.

Is there no option to go online in the TIA project and save the parameter from each drive what we can use later to load in a spare drive?

I am aware of the option that we go on site and load the parameters of each drive to SD cards with IOP

My previous post was not clear in this point: Is there option to save parameters in TIA Portal (Startdrive). To do this, You need to perform upload from drive (see the attachment).

After that, your drive in TIA Project will store all parameters.

I am able download now a .CSV file, is there a way to load that file in a drive with a serial cable?\
