Sign of life in sinamics S120 drive

monir Regular Member Joined: 7/16/2012 Last visit: 6/21/2024 Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	Dear TechTeam, We use Sinamics s120 drives and CU310 control module. some times we get sign of life error and drives show faulty. and we turn OFF Power and then Turn ON power again of the drives and alarms goes away. Couldyou please explain what is Sign of life error and what I need to check if this sign of life alarm come.

Thelifesign in the S120 System is a part of the PROFIDRIVE Standard and is a mechanism to check thats the PLC and the drive works with the correct telegrams. further information in this document Regards Christoph
